Anti-gunners in Bellevue
West Coast Armory is having a tough time getting it’s final occupancy from the city of Bellevue. A group of anti-gunners is constantly calling the city and placing flyers on vehicles in the Factoria area.
West Cost Armory is located adjacent to what used to be the Weapons Safety Inc. that operated as a public range and retail gun store for over 7 years. The WCA indoor range is “members & guests only” and doesn’t sell anything to the general public at the Bellevue location.
Despite the opposition by some anti-gun group, the Bellevue Police Department considers the location ideal, and WCA is contracted with several law enforcement agencies to provide the range for training. Read more

New Year Brings a New Range for Washington Shooting Classes
InSights Training Center is very excited to announce that we are joining forces with West Coast Armory Indoor Range and Bellevue Gun Club. The 31,000 square foot facility, which opens in January 2010, will feature 22 lanes and a training bay. It is located at the junction of I-90 and I-405 in the Factoria part of Bellevue for easy access from Seattle, Renton, the Eastside, and other outlying areas.
InSights will be offering classes in the training bay starting in February. When the facility is completed, we will be able to shoot 270 degrees with reactive steel targets (frangible ammo required) and even to bring vehicles onto the range.
There will be ongoing matches including steel plate shoots, IDPA, rifle league, ladies league, and many other fun shooting sports. The range will feature a full-service gun shop with a vast selection of firearms, ammunition, and gear at discount prices. There will also be on-site firearm repair and customization by experienced and certified gunsmiths. Read more
