Urban Surveillance Operations

$1050 per student

3-Day Immersive Fieldcraft Course

This three-day course delivers intensive, hands-on training in real-world surveillance tradecraft and covert team movement. Students will operate in both urban and rural environments, learning how to track, observe, and exploit targets while remaining undetected.

The foundation of the course is vehicular surveillance: how to follow targets discreetly, maintain control through dynamic terrain, and coordinate movement as a surveillance team. Students will learn positioning, contact management, observation discipline, and how to adapt to the complexities of live environments and unpredictable subjects.

Equally critical is the counter-surveillance insight students will gain. To identify surveillance in the real world, you must first understand how it works. By planning and executing surveillance operations themselves — and making the same mistakes real-world operators make — students will develop instinctive recognition of amateur and poorly executed surveillance. This has direct value for anyone in personal security, executive protection, or threat avoidance roles.

The final phase focuses on covert target access operations: how to place personnel on and off a fixed location discreetly. Students will practice time-on-target coordination, low-signature drop-offs and pickups, and the establishment of supporting security elements — skills derived from close target reconnaissance and HUMINT operations.

Like special operations exercises such as Robin Sage, this course is structured under a scenario-driven model. Students operate in a fictionalized but grounded environment where they face an enemy with first-world surveillance, intelligence, and response capabilities. The scenario is not political — it's a training frame that pushes realism, discipline, and tactical decision-making under pressure.

This is not a self-defense course. This is tradecraft.
Whether your objective is professional development or serious personal readiness, this course offers a deep dive into the mindset, techniques, and reality of covert surveillance operations.
